The Lord is powerful to heal!

"Whatever God says to us is full of living power; it is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts, exposing us for what we really are. He knows about everyone, everywhere. Everything about us is bare and wide open to the all-seeing eyes of our living God; nothing can be hidden from Him to whom we must explain all that we have done." What a powerful scripture! I so love His Word! It truly is a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet. Recently when I was so ill with COVID, I was laying on our bed with such a hacking cough, my chest felt like all my ribs had been cracked back and front, and my head throbbed with sinus. I was giving thanks to the Lord in the midst of the situation, worshipping Him in between coughing and the Holy Spirit arrested my thoughts and reminded me of a beautiful Fijian woman who had been at one of our Game Changer study nights. She shared how she had a breast abscess forming overnight. She was in a lot of pain but did not want to disturb the family she was living with. So, she tore.... yes, tore a healing scripture from her bible and stuck it to her breast. As she stirred throughout the night, she lay hands on the Word stuck to her breast and claimed healing. When she awoke next morning, she was totally healed with no sign of the abscess.

So, I took one of my bibles, opened it over my chest and put another under my pillow and fell asleep for a couple of hours. On waking, the cough was gone, my chest was no longer painful, and the throbbing head had stopped. The Word of God is ALIVE! It is ACTIVE! It is sharper than any two-edge sword! And God watches over His Word to perform it when we act and speak by faith. (And guess who the first person I saw when I went back to Church two weeks later? Yes, this darling lady and when I told her, she cried, praising God for His goodness.)
