Contending for the Crossing Over
Call to Prayer for 21 Days of seeking the Holy Spirit
Aglow Leaders, Global Partners, Friends of Aglow.
You are exhorted to participate in this 21 day prayer commitment. You are invited to fast in whatever way the Lord leads you as you dedicate this 21 day period to His purposes.
The Crossover spoken of by the Lord in Sydney depends upon the army taking its rightful place before the throne of God in worship and prayer listening to Holy Spirit and asking for His life giving power to flow through you and all those you are praying for.
The verses, John 15: 1-12, shown below, have particular significance for Aglow as we call our local meetings "Branches". This passage is addressed to us personally as a living branch in His Kingdom as well as corporately.
For the next 7 days I ask you to take this passage, read it out to the Lord, soak in it, pray it and know the flow of the Spirit through you as He leads you and brings deeper revelation of this word. Then let us know what He is saying to you.
Let us pray:
1. That every one who enters into an Aglow gathering will encounter the life changing, saving love of Jesus
2. That all Leaders will be refreshed and empowered in their "life union" with Christ with the richness of the word flowing out through them
3. As you live in union with Jesus as your life source your life will demonstrate fruitfulness for His Kingdom.

Jesus the Living Vine - John 15:1-12 (The Passion Translation)
“I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.
“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!
“I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts. If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by his love. My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!
“So this is my command: Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you."
