NSW/ACT Leaders Retreat
Ruth from Epping Aglow provided her beautiful, spacious holiday home on St Hubert’s Island, Central Coast for the venue of our Retreat. Leaders from Tuggerah Lakes, Port Stephens, Maitland, Taree, Ballina, Ulladulla, Mittagong, suburbs of Sydney and ACT attended the 3 day retreat.
We arrived on Thursday afternoon and were treated to a sumptuous Afternoon Tea, provided by the Tuggerah Lakes Aglow ladies.
On Friday morning we had a “Dwell at the Well”. Kim Newley Poole’s husband, Colin, expertly crafted a Well made of wood. It was first used at Anna Bay. Kim shared a reading from Genesis 26:19-22 where Isaac’s servant dug 3 wells. The first two were claimed by the herdsmen of Gerar. Isaac named the third one ‘Rehoboth’ “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish (prosper) in the land.” This is a word of encouragement for us all.
Some have struggled during 2020 but this year the living water will flow with blessings as we dig new wells.
Prophecies and visions were shared.
In the afternoon we had a time of worship, prayer and ministry together. We then broke up into two’s and prayed for each other. We were anointed with oil and each given a word from the Lord. It was a time of fellowship, unity and healing.
We left after Breakfast on Saturday – refreshed, invigorated, challenged and ready to instil this passion and enthusiasm with our Groups.
