CHRISTMAS GREETING 2020
After a most unusual year we stand together in this Christmas Season ready to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus.
“Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them.
“Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Saviour-yes, the Messiah, the Lord- has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognise Him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:9-12
In humility and simplicity the Christ child was born in Bethlehem to serve, to heal, to teach, to reveal the Father and teach us the way of life. He brought peace on earth and good will to all men. God’s love shines in the darkness and hope is available to all “because He lives.”
Throughout 2020 nothing was secure but our faith in Christ and our trust in Him and the assurance that we could all follow where He leads us. He has led us in sustained prayer for those who have been seriously ill and the Lord has answered those prayers.
God has used us in this season to find new paths to do His will. We have reached beyond the familiar and taken hold of the hands of many as Jesus has led us. He is calling us higher in prayer, faith and expectation and “because He lives” we will work to bring in the harvest as He shows us the way.
May you all experience a joyful Christmas with loved ones, take time for rest and settle in the word as He leads and inspires us daily.
Thank you for your faithfulness to God as you serve Him through Aglow and for your financial generosity and support as you minister in the name of Jesus. We anticipate with joy His plan for 2021.
With love
Kerry-Ellen, Liz, Julia and Nicole
