Aglow Colac Ottway Has Begun!

All up, 41 people attended our first opening. The numbers from the Colac region were boosted by Aglow leaders and members who travelled long distances on the day to support the rebirth of Colac Otway Aglow in Victoria. The locals who attended the gathering were in awe of the faithfulness of these men and women, and the effort they made to support us.

We were all encouraged to release the yearning we held within us for the Holy Spirit, understanding that if we seek Him, He will make Himself found. The presence of the Holy Spirit entered the building and rested upon us. His presence was tangible and so sweet throughout the time. We sought the face of God, releasing our yearning to Him in worship and prayer.

I explained that I had sought the Lord as to what He wanted of Colac Otway Aglow and of myself. I believe His response was to "Set My People Free." After much time searching the Scriptures and in prayer, the Lord explained to me that for His people to be set free, they needed to recognise the importance of the Spirit of Liberty — that is, the Holy Spirit — and the importance of being led by Him.

I spoke of the value of the Holy Spirit to God the Father and to Jesus Christ, God the Son, and of how They do not tolerate ill-treatment of Their Holy Spirit. I shared how religion has relegated the Holy Spirit to a lesser role within the Trinity — a view that diminishes His relevance in the signs and wonders of the Church today. But the truth is, the Holy Spirit is God — the Spirit of the Almighty and of Jesus Christ — not to be quenched or grieved. The work of the Holy Spirit within us as believers is to continue forever. The gifts and callings are enduring until Christ’s return.

The Lord impressed upon me how, from Genesis to Revelation, the message of God's heart is: "Let My people go free." It was for freedom that Jesus came, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. If the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is within me, I shall have a yearning to set God's people free — the ones He died for, those who have come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

The unity of the Body of Christ was discussed at length, as well as the importance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Five-Fold Ministries as part of God’s plan to mature us all into the fullness of the stature of Christ — which is the fullness of the stature of love.

If the devil is aware that the work of the Holy Spirit within Christians will bring about the maturing of believers into the Manifested Sons of God, the Bride of Christ, and hasten the time of his being cast into the lake of fire — what would such a devil do today to delay his demise? He was defeated by Christ through His death and resurrection, but he knows his time on earth is limited.The answer is this: he would try to keep the people of God from taking the Holy Spirit — the Spirit of Liberty — seriously. He would work to discount the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Five-Fold Ministries to the Church, and in doing so, keep the Church immature, quench the work of the Holy Spirit, and grieve the Spirit of God.

God's plan is to release the Holy Spirit upon His believers in order to bring the Age of the Holy Spirit into the earth.

On Saturday, 14th June 2025, a great awakening of the Church was prophesied. A prophetic call to unity and endurance was given by Jacqueline Gardner of Aglow and was powerfully demonstrated through a banner that was unfolded for us all to read. The banner displayed the words of Andrew Fisher, the Australian Opposition Leader in 1914, who called Australia to stand “united to the last man and the last shilling” in support of the Motherland. He spoke these words in Colac, Victoria.

We concluded the day by standing in a circle, led by Jacqueline, united in the Holy Spirit and committing ourselves to endure in Christ for the sake of the Kingdom of God until our last breath. Again, the presence of God was sweet and thick.

It was prophesied:

“The Word of God cannot return void without accomplishing what it is sent to do.”

Therefore, if 2 Chronicles 7:14 is put into practice by the Body of Christ, it will bring about the healing of the nations that we yearn for:

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

“God will make Himself to be found by those who seek Him.”

We closed in prayer and deep gratitude for all that the Lord has done in each of us — and all He will continue to do through us in the future.
