Aglow Regional Days reach the Northern Territory
Another delightful and rich visit to the Northern Territory. I love Darwin and the people.
The regional day showcased the diversity in Aglow - All the tribes and tongues joining in Darwin with African, Chinese, Indigenous - all the colours of this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit!
Worship was led by a beautiful group of young people from a local church which provided a glorious freshness and brought us into the presence of the Holy Spirit.
I was interested to hear about the history of the Northern Territory, and how the indigenous brought the gospel from Queensland across into the Territory and established Christ-centred faith in Darwin.
Margaret Whiteley spoke on the power of the blood of Jesus, and I shared about us all bringing the word of God to others. We are His hands and feet.
In the closing minutes of the Regional Day in Darwin I sensed the wind of the Spirit that is blowing freshly in South Australia is moving right up the central corridor of our nation. I believe the Spirit is breaking forth in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Isaiah 49:6
Indeed he says,
"It is too small a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the gentiles, that you should be my salvation to the ends of the earth,"
O God your plan is so big for every tribe and tongue and nation!
